    We highly suggest shopping Park City’s eclectic stores on Main Street. There are over 100 independent boutiques! After a day of shopping, pamper yourself at the resort by taking a sauna or relax in hot tub. Looking for something different? Park City is rich in fascinating history and art; there are museums, galleries, and historical tours. Or check out the ghost tour! A 75-minute walking tour of the historic ski town sharing ghost stories about the many haunted buildings around Main Street.

    Golfing

    Escape the crowds and revel in panoramic views. Salt Lake City and the surrounding area are home to seven public and eight private courses. Our mild weather is perfect for golfing and don’t be surprised if your game is improved. Sshhhh…the mountain air holds a secret. Just 5 miles from Black Rock Mountain Resort is our local Park City Golf Course, a walkable, player-friendly course located in the middle of town. The course expanded in 1976 to an 18-hole course designed by William Neff.

    Round Valley Rail Trail – Easy

    Round Valley Rail Trail is a 7.1-mile loop trail that is good for all skill levels and offers scenic views. Dogs are welcome as long as you keep your pup on a leash.

    Plunko’s Peak – Moderate

    Plunko’s Peak is a 4.5-mile out-and-back trail. Take in views of the Jordanelle Reservoir and keep an eye out; this is a fun trail for spotting wildlife.

    Iron Canyon Trail is a 5.5-mile out-and-back trail and is terrific for bird-watching. The trail goes through avalanche terrain so make sure to check the daily avalanche forecast before heading out on a hike.
